End of Year Gift Exchange

Christmas A2F Style

UCI senior holds up a gift she got from our Christmas event.

What do you associate with the Christmas holidays?  Maybe presents, hot cocoa, fun games with family and friends or remembering the Christmas story in the Bible?  At A2F, we have all of those elements with our End of the Year Bible Study and Gift Exchange.

At A2F, we said goodbye to 2019 with a year end Bible Study and gift exchange!  We started with a home cooked meal, always a key ingredient for a college fellowship, and then had a Bible study followed by candlelight singing of Christmas carols.  Then, we had an epic gift exchange!  This is not your family’s typical white elephant gift exchange though.  We had special challenges such as unwrapping a present with an oven mit, participants with secret identities such as Elsa from Frozen who could freeze a gift and the Grinch who could steal a gift at will.  Some interesting gifts included a gift card frozen in ice and the very practical gift of tupperware.  We wrapped up the night (no pun intended) with a hot cocoa bar.
